Cagliari Pride
About This Event
On this page "Cagliari Pride" means Sardegna Pride, the island-wide march that brings LGBTQ+ groups from across Sardinia into Cagliari or Sassari each June (the two cities usually take turns: Cagliari 2024 and 2026, Sassari 2025). In 2026 the build-up started weeks ahead with Queeresima, a run of concerts and public talks in Cagliari, Quartu, Carbonia, Dolianova, Burcei and Guspini, ending in three days at Parco della Musica from 25 to 27 June.
The parade left Parco della Musica at 5pm on Saturday 27 June 2026 and looped about six kilometres through the centre, by Via Roma, Piazza Yenne, Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza San Benedetto, back to the park. The theme was "The Strength of Disorder", and the edition was dedicated to Anna Corona, one of the founders of AGedO Cagliari, the parents' association. L'Unione Sarda reported at least 30,000 people that evening, and Mayor Massimo Zedda spoke at 6:30pm.
Late June in Cagliari is hot, which is why the march starts late in the afternoon. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked; the 2026 parade fell on the last Saturday of June.
