Purple Friday — biplus.nl

Every year on the second Friday of October (until 2025 it was the second Friday of December), it is Purple Friday. Purple Friday is a GSA action day on which the whole school can show their support for sex, gender, and sexual diversity by wearing purple.
Purple Friday is an initiative of the GSA Network* and COC Netherlands, on which they call on teachers and students to wear purple at school. The action is intended to show your support for sex, gender, and sexual diversity.
Will you also wear purple today?
*) A Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) is an organization or group of students and volunteers at school who advocate for a safe environment for everyone. The GSA Network is the collaboration between the GSAs.
