You are invited to the 16th edition of BCMF!
Brda Contemporary Music Festival, a festival of creative music and improvisation, returns for its sixteenth edition from September 10 to 12, 2026, in the heart of Goriška Brda—an area known for its fusion of Slovenian, Friulian, and Italian cultures. One of the festival’s core missions is to create a meeting point between the Italian-Slovenian and international music scenes through the participation of young musicians, their interaction with established artists, and the continuation of their invaluable work. At the festival, contemporary creative music also meets other art forms, namely visual arts and poetry, thereby enriching the environment and opening it to an international panorama beyond former borders. This year, the festival will again take place in the former cinema in Medana and in the memorial house of Gradnik and Zorzut.
