About the event

Archival Chain Reactions – Gaps in the Archive and Forgotten Connections – Finnissage Weekend, September 11 and 12, 2026.
At the conclusion of the exhibition Archival Chain Reactions, the curators have invited artists and writers who, in their practices, engage in various ways with archival gaps and forgotten artistic or institutional connections – through acts of voicing, metabolizing, tracing, or gifting.
Join us for talks and discussions (with Agata Jakubowska, Vesna Vuković, etc.), a performative lecture (Jule Flierl), and ritual gifts created by Mónica Mayer and selma banich in collaboration with the collective Politike dotika. Both gifts are openly reciprocal in their intention to highlight stories and people who are otherwise less visible in state institutions.
The program was curated by Iva Kovač and Bettina Knaup, who also moderates it. More information: https://mestozensk.org/sl/dogodek/arhivske-verizne-reakcije-vrzeli-v-arhivu-pozabljene-povezave-zakljucni-vikend
