🎶 At the Folk Music Cycle in the Cultural Incubator, the Kulturno umetniško društvo Študent will present a wide repertoire of folk music.🎶
"We will present a wide repertoire of folk music, ranging from Trieste to Prekmurje. We will dare to present contemporary arrangements of folk music, and of course, we will not forget the older, original recordings." – KUD Študent
In 2025, the Maribor Youth Cultural Center hosted the Academic Folklore Group Študent, which operates under KUD Študent, for the Day of Maribor. The performance was met with an exceptional audience response, so in 2026, MKC Maribor continues and enhances its cooperation with KUD Študent. The Slovenian music cycle presents the Slovenian folk music tradition as a living and contemporary practice, preserved with great dedication by young musicians.
