FriForma: KNUSP (Gobi Drab / Klaus Haidl / Teresa Doblinger / Tiziana Bertoncini)

Our annual international co-production with the Viennese association Verein zur Förderung von Neuer Musik im Kirchenraum takes place every autumn in Celje, at the Mestni špital with the chapel of St. Elizabeth, and in Vienna, at the church of St. Rupert, in collaboration with the music collective KNUSP. The fourth year of cooperation presents a quartet consisting of the core members of the KNUSP collective, Gobi Drab and Klaus Haidl, and guest musicians Teresa Doblinger on clarinet and Tiziana Bertoncini on violin.
The exceptional acoustics of the chapel of St. Elizabeth and carefully selected top musicians create FriForma concerts, which are always an exceptional and unrepeatable listening experience.

GOBI DRAB is a flutist, performer, and composer. Her repertoire combines free improvisation with the rhetoric of early music and complex structures of contemporary music. She has a particular fondness for angular Paetzold recorders and also devotes considerable attention to contemporary dance. / gobidrab.at
KLAUS HAIDL is dedicated to the interpretation, research, and arrangement of music from the Middle Ages to the present day. He performs a wide variety of musical genres and styles, using a broad range of string instruments.
