Jazz Club Ljubljanski grad will open its tenth concert season with a performance by the legendary Janez Bončina – Benč. This time, the focus will be on the singer's less prominent but crucial creative side – his connection to jazz. The concert, featuring a top-notch jazz ensemble, will blend rock energy with jazz freedom. The evening will be a tribute to his rich, over fifty-year musical journey, which he will guide us through with fresh interpretations of hits such as Ta noč je moja, Maja z biseri, Gvendolina, Ob šanku, Florida, Kadar ognji dogorijo, Ostavi trag, Bendologija… He will also surprise us with exceptional guests, Nina Strnad and Žan Hauptman, who operate within jazz, R&B, soul, and pop.
Nina Strnad is one of the most recognizable and confident vocalists on the Slovenian music scene, while Žan Hauptman is currently one of the most interesting young Slovenian music creators.
