At the 34th Days of Comedy, the comedy "Usje se je dalu" became a "noble comedy" according to both the jury and the audience's opinion. "Noble comedians" became Patrizia Jurinčič Finžgar and Matija Rupel. Additionally, it was selected for the competition program of the 56th Week of Slovenian Drama, where it competed for the Slavko Grum Award for best dramatic text. It also performed at the 50th Days of Satire Fadil Hadžić in Zagreb (Croatia).
"Usje se je dalu" is a comedy born from life on the border. The stories of more than 70 witnesses humorously touch upon various themes, problems, and phenomena that marked the lives of individuals and communities. The stories of ordinary people, often overlooked by official history, connect the audience with laughter and encourage reflection.
"The performance stems from a Renaissance model of encounters, which it transforms into a contemporary stage language, with humor organically growing from situations and characters, without slipping into caricature," assesses the jury.
The performance, which uses comedy to open up the theme of the border and related issues of separation, community, and resourcefulness, was also highly rated by the audience – it received an exceptional rating of 4.93.
