Garner Hotel Wolverhampton (an IHG hotel)

An economy hotel on Waterloo Road, at the north-west corner of the city centre and about 300 metres from Molineux. The building is a converted 1960s office block that opened as a Travelodge, then traded as Redwings Lodge, and reopened in May 2025 under IHG's Garner brand after a full refurbishment. It has 99 air-conditioned rooms in standard and premium grades, plus accessible twins. There is a bar and a 24-hour front desk. The station is under a kilometre away on foot, and the Lichfield Street and Victoria Street bars are within ten minutes. Mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
