Queering intimacy workshop

Queering intimacy will be a discussion-led workshop designed to focus on how we can 'queer the intimacy' in our daily lives to design intimacy to be expressed in relationships beyond only romantic and sexual. Zephyr (they/he) will be facilitating the workshop and discussions on how to move beyond mainstream narratives of intimacy to be able to "queer" intimacy in our daily lives.

The discussion will be largely based from the zine "Queering Intimacy" by UK based collective, The Queering Intimacy Collective. They can be found at lettersfrommars on Instagram.

In this workshop, the discussions will be around questions such as
- "What is intimacy?" and "What are different forms of intimacy?"
- "What relationship models are possible beyond the relationship escalator?" Or "how can we design our relationship "escalator" to be tailored to our individual relationships?"
- "What are blocks to intimacy in our lives?"

Zephyr (they/he) is a sex nerd, diving deep into the sex positive movement since 2016. They have been facilitating sex education workshops at Queer Rotterdam since 2024.
