Music theater | From the NeoMusical Kollektiv Theme Series FOCUS ON: TIPPING POINTS The NeoMusical Kollektiv brings the marginal figures from Richard Wagner's opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to the center to reimagine them and explore their utopian potential. While the heroes go on a hero's journey, the Rhine Daughters sit by the Rhine and linger. They ask if the "best years" are really over and swear to remain Messy Girls forever. A queer-feminist, post-dramatic musical about resilience, safe spaces, culture wars, and lingering in times of societal tipping points.
