Walk of love

On Saturday, October 3, Utrecht Queer Culture Festival and COC Midden-Nederland are organizing a new edition of the Walk of Love.   And this year, the Walk of Love 2026 starts at the Geertekerk! A meaningful place to begin our Walk of Love on Saturday, October 3. Because for 40 years (since 1986), it has been possible at the Remonstrants to have relationships between same-sex couples blessed – long before the legal opening of marriage in 2001.   Route Geertekerk/Geertekerkhof – Pelmolenweg – Geertebolwerk – Rijnkade (park) – Willemsplantsoen – Mariaplaats – Zadelstraat – Maartensbrug – Servetstraat – Domtoren – Domplein.
