About the event
Rainbow Railroad is heading to Parliament Hill in Ottawa tomorrow to bring the priorities of 2SLGBTQI+ communities to federal decision-makers.
We are joining queer, trans and allied organizations from across Canada, including queermomentum, fierte.canada.pride, prideatworkcan, egalecanada and dignitynetworkcanada, for a Queer Day of Action calling on the Government of Canada to Renew and Expand the Federal 2SLGBTQIA+ Action Plan.
We don't make this trip lightly. It takes us away from the everyday work of supporting queer people in our communities. But this is a critical moment — for Canada and queer people.
At a time when 2SLGBTQI+ communities are facing growing challenges at home and abroad, Canada cannot step back from a funded federal Action Plan.
We're taking our message to Ottawa. But we need your help to make sure we are heard.
