TVOP Spin Fishing 101 - Minnesota

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Here's your chance! The Venture Out Project is partnering with Fishing For All to offer a Learn to Fish Class!Fishing For All's (FFA) mission is to build community through fishing. We are so excited to partner with The Venture Out Project (TVOP) to provide the queer community a safe, fun, and positive fishing experience! You'll learn about basic spin fishing equipment, techniques, and try to catch fish off the dock with FFA guides and TVOP volunteers!All fishing equipment is provided, and no fishing license is required to participate in this class. Just bring comfy outdoor clothing, a brimmed hat, sunglasses, and a positive attitude! $30/person, plus booking fees. ​We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. This event is intended for the LGBTQ+ community.

Meet: September 24, 2026 Pets:While we love pets, we ask that furry friends who are not service animals remain home on this adventure. Tell them we said hi! Cost: This event costs $30/person, plus booking fees. Bring: Water, snacks (if desired), weather appropriate clothing, fishing gear (if you want, but it will be provided!).
