Robyn Archer — Qtopia Sydney
About the event
If you don’t already know about Robyn Archer, it’s time to get acquainted. For over fifty years, this brilliant singer, writer, director, and absolute force of nature has been giving us unapologetic lesbian energy on stage and behind the scenes.
Back in the late 1970s, Robyn shook up the cabaret world with wild, fearless shows like A Star is Torn and The Pack of Women, tackling sex, gender, and power long before it was trendy. On top of being a stunning performer, she’s run huge national arts festivals and mentored a whole generation of queer performance makers.
A total legend who always does things entirely on her own terms.
