Autumn Hike / Autumn-Hiking

Lace up your sturdy shoes and grab your backpacks, because on Sunday, November 8, it's time to queer the nearby countryside again! This time, we'll make our way through the (hopefully) autumnal golden forests of the Siebengebirge. A bus will take us to Margarethenhöhe, from where we will first walk around the Ölberg before heading east towards the ruins of Rosenau Castle. After a short break, we will continue up to the Petersberg with a view of the surrounding peaks and the Siegtal valley. Finally, the descent will take us to Oberdollendorf back to the train and on our way back to Bonn.
For travel, we will meet on 11/08 at 11:10 AM at Bonn Central Station, subway track U4. From there, we will take subway line 66 towards Bad Honnef. In Königswinter, we will change to bus line 521 at Clemens-August-Straße.
Also, remember snacks, drinks, and possibly weather-appropriate clothing. In case of very bad weather, we will postpone the hike by one week to Sunday, 11/15.
