In a season shaped by stories that branch across generations, identities and lived experience, Branches Etched Across the Sky offers a deeply moving exploration of family, illness, loss and the fragile beauty of human resilience. Written by acclaimed Atlanta playwright and artist Addae Moon and directed by Marlon Andrew Burnley, this production marks only the second staging of the work worldwide.
Blending emotional intimacy with theatrical imagination, the play moves between reality and memory, tracing the ways families hold one another through uncertainty and change. As characters navigate grief, care and the unknowable spaces between them, imagination becomes not an escape from hardship, but a way of enduring it.
