The 'early' Festival of Democracy: 'Democracy – But How?

The Young Festival of Democracy is under the motto "Democracy – But How?". The panel discussion begins at 7:30 PM in the theater hall of the youth center and is dedicated to the guiding question:

"Democratic coexistence and social cohesion – but how in today's world?"

Before the panel discussion (7:00 PM), there will be an introductory talk by democracy researcher Dr. Maier from the University of Stuttgart. This will be followed by an approximately one-hour discussion, moderated by two students from our upper secondary level. At the beginning, you will have the opportunity to briefly introduce yourself to the audience. Afterwards, the moderators will provide some sentence starters that the panel guests can complete – for example: "For me, democracy means…". This will be followed by questions prepared by our students on democratic coexistence and social cohesion. Finally, we would like to open the floor for questions from the audience. We would also be very pleased if you could stay on site for a while afterwards, if your time permits. This would give young people in particular the opportunity to ask further questions or to talk to you personally. Our moderators will point out this possibility at the end of the discussion.
