About the venue
SRO Lounge is a long-running gay bar on Fifth Avenue in Bankers Hill, just north of downtown San Diego. It is not in the Gaslamp Quarter, despite what older listings say…
“We arrived and were lucky to find space at the bar. We ordered two very good Martinis, and the prices were quite reasonable! Good music, limited street parking, a pub for all kinds of people! Relaxed! Perfect for a good chat! The drinks were very good!” — Del Rey, Google
“Great lounge with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Drinks are well-made, and the staff is attentive without being intrusive. A comfortable spot to unwind and enjoy a good evening. Definitely worth a visit.” — Brian Walker, Google
