About the event

with the belladonna archive team Which stories are remembered, which remain invisible, and who actually decides what is preserved? On our archive tour, we will trace queer and lesbian-feminist history(ies) in Bremen and beyond. Using selected magazines, posters, photos, flyers, and other documents, we will take a look at political struggles, self-created spaces, networks, and forms of resistance and self-organization. It’s not just about what’s in the archive, but also about why these materials are collected and preserved. How is movement history passed down? Which voices and perspectives are included in archives and which are missing? What do feminist and queer archives mean for our present? The tour provides insights into the holdings and work of the queer-lesbian-feminist archive of belladonna and invites you to discover, ask questions, and exchange ideas.
Registration required by phone, email, or via the website. The event is for all interested parties.
