Because it's in the rainforest, little exotic birds will come sit with you during breakfast.

Eco Torarica is a very nice hotel with a great location. You can walk right into Paramaribo. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Lovely pool and bar by the river! The price is perfectly fine, and there were hardly any Dutch people when we stayed. Just make sure you go outside the peak season. So, a great mix of guests. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the food is delicious. If you have a rental car, parking here is easy. It can get busy on weekends.

I stayed 1 night at Eco Torarica with my son and husband and had a very pleasant experience. We made use of the sauna and jacuzzi at Torarica, which was a nice extra included with the stay. Unfortunately, my 10-year-old son was not allowed in the sauna, which is understandable, but we still enjoyed the facilities very much. It was also my husband’s birthday, and the hotel surprised him with a birthday cupcake placed in the room, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The bed was very comfortable, and although the pool is on the smaller side, we still had a great time relaxing there. What really stood out for us was the extensive breakfast buffet, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. One thing to keep in mind for locals is that there is a refundable deposit of SRD 400. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely visit again.
