We had been in Halifax for about a week and decided that we wanted to have a really good steak dinner for a change. So we came across Baton Rouge right across from our hotel. Our waitress, Kiersten, was amazing, very attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We both ordered Filet Mignon. One with wild rice and Brussels sprouts as sides, and the other with garlic mashed potatoes and an add-on of scallops and shrimp. The steaks were cooked perfectly, just as we ordered. However, the sprouts and veggies on the plates were cold. The mashed potatoes had an odd consistency, but they still tasted good. We also felt it wasn't a true steakhouse and was more of a tourist spot than anything. They did take care of our issues, but overall, we feel that we could have found better. Also, the wine selection was very limited, which we wouldn't have expected from a higher-end restaurant.

Lindsey was incredible. She was patient and fun and very attentive. We did not feel rushed and she was attentive to our needs. Best service we have had in a long time.
