The food was so good. There is no changing my mind. It was super quiet you would only hear forks and knifes scrape or tap the plates and a little chatter. But the food was so delicious 5/5. Perfect for a date or a birthday. And there octopus is not chewy it was soft and nice. The service was very amazing my water never went empty every 5-7 mins they would check on how my food was and made some small chat with me too. They were also very kind never rude or rushed. I would recommend this place to people to try it.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience. The service was the highlight of the evening. My server was attentive, knowledgeable, and paired my wine perfectly with my meal. His recommendations were spot on, and he made me feel genuinely taken care of throughout the night. The atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for a special dinner. While the duck was a bit underwhelming and didn’t quite live up to my expectations, everything else was well prepared and enjoyable. I’d absolutely return, especially for the outstanding service and excellent wine recommendations.

My partner enjoyed a tasty Truffle & Lobster Mac n Cheese which lacked any real sign or taste of the truffle while the top lobster claw still contained the flat cartilage bone taking away from the experience I had the Alberta prime rib steak which was a thin cut, overcooked and I could only enjoy the small outer spinalis "cap", leaving most of my steak uneaten. We also shared a Foie Gras & Braised Beef Poutin.. the montreal curds were cooked away to melted lumps instead of heated squeaky bites, while the foie grass was like a puddle of jelly.. the beef slices however were nicely cooked and enjoyed instead of my steak. The final two sides, were fried mushrooms and asparagus w/bearnaise sauce. These were simply okay. Final notes, other than a quick check on our meals, the service asked if we wanted our uneaten meal bagged to take home, but did not inquire further when we declined I would have expected more concern as throughout the meal, the "showstopper" steak was ignored and much of the meal picked through for the better morsels. All in all, a $260 disappointing meal & experience.. We will stick with MicMac Bar and Grill for better quality and favorable cost, or even The Keg for a superior steak Disappointed steak lover

What an incredible experience! We visited this steakhouse while in Halifax, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was beyond exceptional, Jonathan was our server and did an outstanding job. He was attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The food was absolutely fantastic, the presentation was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Very nice restaurant and our server Andrew was awesome but that’s where it ended. We ordered a few appetizers and a tenderloin. Started with a Cesar salad, we had to ask what the gritty stuff in the dressing was and it turns out it was sand from the lettuce not being washed. The Foie gras was very under done and was like a coagulated blood/ jelly. After that we didn’t want to complain about the oysters Rockefeller that they were the smallest oyster we’ve ever had with little topping. The grilled octopus was delicious and shrimp cocktail was also good (not much to prepare). The steak and mushrooms were fine but just ok. The servers were both very good and when we asked about the food they did go to the kitchen and check about our concerns. We really don’t like to complain but this was unexpected from such a nice restaurant. They did look after some of the bill, that was not our intention but we appreciated the gesture.

The staff is lovely, they have variety option of steaks. I highly recommend pork and scallops starter. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. When knowing its my birthday, they offer us a nice birthday plate. 🥰🥰
