About the event

Calling high school teachers in Manitoba! Register your GSA for Rainbow Resource Centre's Manitoba Gender & Sexuality Alliance Conference (GSA). Students eligible for participation: Grades 9-12, ages 14-19 across Manitoba. Join us on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain (CCFM). Rainbow Resource Centre’s biennial GSA Conference for youth is a province‑wide gathering designed to uplift, connect, and empower 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allied educators across Manitoba. This year's theme is Prouder, Fiercer, Queerer. In a time of rising anti-2SLGBTQ+ rhetoric and violence, this theme serves as a bold reminder that our students find their greatest strength when they believe in themselves and their community. We are building on our history by creating a dedicated space to celebrate queer culture and strengthen our collective commitment to safer, more affirming schools. Throughout this full-day event in Winnipeg, participants will engage in youth workshops, educator training, and community-strengthening activities designed to honor our history and protect our future. This registration portal serves to deepen the connections within our vibrant ecosystem of advocates as we work toward a more inclusive province. Space is limited, so we encourage teachers to register early to secure your spot.
