About this place El Local en Santurce
El Local is a small dive and art bar on Avenida Fernández Juncos in Santurce, open since 2008 and a regular stop on the queer side of San Juan's nightlife. Gay travel guides list it for its karaoke night and its queer parties, with drag queens and drag kings on the bill.
It is cheap, unpolished and local, closer to a neighbourhood hangout than a club, and a short ride from Kweens Klub, Toxic and SX on the same side of Santurce. We hold no confirmed hours, so check the bar's social media for the current nights before going.
