About this place MOCHA Buffalo
MOCHA Buffalo is Evergreen Health's community centre for LGBTQ+ people of colour, at 200 South Elmwood Avenue next to Evergreen's main building. It began in 1996 as the Men of Color Health Awareness Project and has been part of Evergreen since 2021. It offers free STI, HIV and hepatitis C testing, free counselling for people aged 13 to 29, education support through its MOCHA CARES programme, and social events. Walk-ins are welcome for some services. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday 11am to 6pm. Phone (716) 847-2441.
