About this place Sheraton Commander Hotel

The Sheraton Commander is a historic hotel from the 1920s at 16 Garden Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, facing Cambridge Common and a few minutes' walk from Harvard Square. It is a mainstream Marriott-group hotel, not a gay venue. Rooms are traditional in style, some with four-poster beds, and there is a restaurant and a gym open around the clock. The Red Line from Harvard station reaches downtown Boston in about 15 minutes, and Club Café and the South End are an easy ride from there. Rates rise sharply during Harvard commencement and parents' weekends.

This hotel has always been beautiful, but the rooms are even more beautiful now since the completion of their renovation. A great well-positioned hotel if you’re in the area to do business with Harvard or want to be accessible to the universities in the area.

Couldn’t even check me in just now. So annoying. The most basic thing a hotel is supposed to be able to do. Literally had to walk out of there without even getting to a room.
