I haven't been in years, but I love all the reviews about the fried chicken chain restaurant that are listed for this Detroit staple gay bar. 😂

Are cops watching this place now? Why no drinks after 2? Whos the weird dude standing by the bar?

I went to this bar on may 30. It was around 2:30am when me and my friends were there. At first the vibes were good, The bouncers/security were super sweet & welcoming, Also the bartenders were amazing (even though it was after 2am but they still served us water and kept the good vibes going). But it went downhill when me and my friends were wondering when they were gonna play music we could sing along and dance to. (the dj was just playing techno instrumental) I went up to the dj and asked if he took requests, he had an annoyed look on his face and told me no (i respected that). but i wanted to know if he was going to play music we could sing along to, and he asked in a condescending voice “have you ever been to a club before? you’re being rude”. I feel that was an over reaction to me asking two simple questions. The dj was giving egotistical energy which is a red flag in my opinion. I expected more welcoming energy at a gay bar.
