It had a fire and is not currently opened. It would have been nice if booking.com had let us know that before we left for our trip.

We booked a trip for the Pocono Raceway and had the room booked months in advance but get up here to the motel condemned due to poor condition. We drive 4 1/2 hours and nobody from the staff bothered to reach out prior and tell us. We call the number they have posted on the door and nobody answers.

All of you people bashing this place should grow up. The place is $40 a night. You should be thanking the owners for putting a roof over your head at that price instead of sleeping outside.

I'm unable to comment on cleanliness, friendliness, etc, as i never got out of the car. This reservation was booked for months. We traveled 6-7 hours, and are in town on business. I received an email, out of the blue, the day before we left... telling me that the property would allow us to cancel. What? Who asked to cancel?! We show up and are informed by two tenants that the place caught fire and apparently they aren't honoring reservations. According to one of the gentlemen, there wasn't an office or anyone to speak to outside of a maintenance man. We're now comfortably down the road at another establishment.
