October is LGBTQ+ History Month Celebrate LGBTQ+ history and culture in Minnesota and the Midwest by creating new Wikipedia articles and improving existing ones. Wikimedians of Minnesota User Group and Quatrefoil Library invites you to attend the Edit the Rainbow – Minnesota & Midwest Edition on Saturday, October 24, 2026. No experience of anything at all is required. All are welcome! Suggested Focus: Minnesota and Midwest 2SLGBTQI+ history topics What to bring: Your laptop, power adapter, and any reference materials you'd like to work from or share Parking: Shared Google Drive: Join in for an edit-a-thon focused on adding LGBTQ+ history and culture from Minnesota and the Midwest to Wikipedia. Together, we will highlight people, places, and events that have often been left out of history and work to make it more complete. Wikipedia reflects the people who edit it, and not everyone has had equal time, access, or confidence to contribute. That means many queer stories are still missing. These gaps do not mean the history did not happen. It means it has not been written yet. This event is a chance to change it!
