About this place Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables

The Biltmore opened in 1926 and is one of the Miami area's best-known historic hotels. Its tower was modelled on the Giralda in Seville, and the building is a National Historic Landmark. It's a mainstream luxury hotel, not a gay venue, and it's gay-friendly. On site you'll find a golf course, a spa, fine-dining restaurants and a very large pool. The hotel sits in residential Coral Gables, about 15 to 20 minutes by car from downtown Miami and further still from South Beach. Expect top-tier prices. It's rated 4.5 from more than 2,600 Google reviews.

This is probably not the hotel, bur their parking agreement will cost them their reputation…Parking is set up to make you pay a ticket. You only get 1 hour option or 24 hr…that’s done on purpose so you forget and end up paying full penalty of $40 dollars. You should be able to pick number of hours and or minutes. Can’t go from 1 hr to 24 hr increments. If you’re golfing…you will forget, if you’re eating at the restaurant you will forget, if you are attending an event…you will forget. Not a fair practice. You end up having to pay full 24 hr price or set a reminder every hour you are there…makes no sense. I go to a lot of events at the BILTMORE and this needs to be corrected.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of celebrating weddings in some of the most iconic venues in the country, and The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is one of those rare places that immediately transports guests to another era. Opened in 1926 and inspired by the Giralda Tower of Seville, The Biltmore stands as one of South Florida's most celebrated landmarks. Its Mediterranean Revival architecture, grand courtyards, hand-painted ceilings, fountains, and historic elegance create an atmosphere that feels both timeless and unforgettable. More than simply a hotel, it is a destination with a century of history woven into every corner. What I especially appreciate is the variety of extraordinary settings available throughout the property. Couples can exchange vows in lush gardens, beneath the stars, beside elegant fountains, or within one of the hotel's magnificent ballrooms. Whether planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, the venue offers a remarkable range of spaces while maintaining a cohesive sense of classic elegance. From a ceremony standpoint, The Biltmore possesses a sense of occasion that few venues can match. There is something special about gathering family and friends in a National Historic Landmark that has welcomed dignitaries, celebrities, and generations of guests for nearly a century. The architecture provides a breathtaking backdrop, yet the setting never overshadows the significance of the ceremony itself. I also appreciate that The Biltmore is ideally suited for a full wedding weekend experience. With luxurious accommodations, renowned dining, a championship golf course, a celebrated spa, and one of the most iconic swimming pools in the country, guests can enjoy far more than the wedding itself. The result is a celebration that feels immersive, relaxed, and memorable for everyone involved. For couples seeking a venue that combines historic grandeur, Mediterranean elegance, exceptional hospitality, and one of the most recognizable settings in South Florida, I am delighted to recommend The Biltmore Hotel. It is a place where history, beauty, and celebration come together in truly spectacular fashion.
