Reading. Listening. Connecting. – Feminist Voices: Julia Korbik
About the event
Over three evenings from September to December, LUX-Junge Kirche Nürnberg provides space for feminist themes. The reading evenings will feature excerpts from books, musical accompaniment, and thematic moderation. All readings begin at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7 PM) at LUX-Junge Kirche Nürnberg, Leipziger Str. 25, 90419 Nürnberg. Tickets are available online or at the box office for €12-€20.
On November 13, 2026, Julia Korbik will speak about Sisterhood/female solidarity as a political principle. In her book “Schwestern – Die Macht des weiblichen Kollektivs” (Sisters – The Power of the Female Collective), the journalist explores how not only networking and solidarity among women* can succeed, but also what power sisterhood can develop as organized cohesion and what prevents it. The evening will be musically accompanied by Ronja Künstler and moderated by Hannah Diemer, a member of the Nuremberg City Council for the politbande.
