Barbie: The Exhibition
About the event
A fabulously camp trip to the Barbie exhibition at Kelvingrove Museum for trans and nonbinary folks. Hi Barbie! 💖 Grab your best pink ensemble (entirely optional, but spiritually encouraged) and join us for a fabulously camp trip to the Barbie exhibition! We’ll be celebrating decades of questionable career choices, impossible wardrobes, tiny shoes and a woman who has somehow maintained approximately 900 careers without visibly ageing since 1959. Come for the fashion, the nostalgia and the sheer unbridled plastic glamour; stay for a fun day out with other trans and nonbinary people, hosted by our own Professor of Barbie. Barbie expertise not required, Kenergy welcomed. This event is pay what you can, on a scale from FREE up to full price – £18. We are buying tickets in advance as it's likely to sell out. When you register, please can you let us know what you can afford to pay us towards your ticket? If you're on benefits, please remember to bring evidence for a reduced ticket – thank you. We will send you meet up details later. This event for trans and nonbinary people aged over 16. Access information Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum – Glasgow Life.
