Time of Remembrance Service
“God has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead… Though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief.” — 1 Peter 1:3–6
Whether the loss of your loved one is very recent or has been carried quietly for many years, we recognize that grief has its own journey and timing. In those moments, Scripture gently reminds us of the living hope we have through Jesus Christ—a hope that holds us even as we grieve. Please know that the staff at Calvary Church continues to care deeply for you and faithfully holds you in prayer. You are not forgotten, and you do not walk this journey alone.
In walking with you, we would be honored by your presence at a Time of Remembrance, a sacred and tender evening set apart to remember those we have lost but will always love. This service will include Scripture, worship, and a meaningful time of reflection, offering space to remember well and to rest in the hope of God’s faithful presence.
In order for us to prepare and to honor each person’s loved one, we ask that all attendees register and provide their loved one’s name, passing date and a photo, if you would like. Registration opens September 28.
