No parking, worst service, I got a email from bridge backpackers to park onside road and I was follow that but after a day I got a $70 ticket from nelson city council.
It's not necessary if there are alternatives, but it's okay.
Been staying here for years; but this was the best, Brad and Tom are great hosts and really took care of me! I left bags behind while tramping and they were in my room when I returned... What great service!
Tom is a Legend of epic proportions thank you so much bro, this place shows that smalls acts of kindness go a long way. Also, yikes!, there's a pretty decent scribble on the wall outside 🤌🏾
Large well-equipped kitchen and plenty of living space. One hour drive from Abel Tasman so doable for a day trip.
Good backpacker hostel. Spacious rooms with a shelf under the bed and a small drawer. The bathroom was okay, but it always depends on the other guests. Large kitchen and nice dining room. The outdoor area with camping tables and chairs is great for relaxing with a book after a long day. The noise from the street was quite loud, as we had to leave the window open overnight because of the heat. So definitely bring earplugs.
