Balangaw LGBTQ+ Association of Puerto Princesa ⚠ Unverified Own this place?

Balangaw LGBTQ+ Association of Puerto Princesa was founded in June 2018 with support from the city government; the name is the Cuyonon word for rainbow. Outrage Magazine counted 207 members at the launch, and local press credits Balangaw, together with Tandikan, with the city's Pride Month activities each June. It is a community association, not a drop-in centre, so there is no public office to visit. If you want to meet local LGBTQ+ people or ask what is planned for June, message the group on Facebook ahead of your trip. Online coverage is patchy, so treat older details as possibly out of date.
