Sauna Mania is a gay sauna in central Bangkok, on Soi Convent 2. It’s for a muscular crowd, a comfortable place to relax and meet people.
You know what to expect from a place like this: warm rooms, a chance to unwind, and a social spot for the community.
Bangkok has a big gay scene, and saunas have been a part of LGBTQ+ social life here for ages. They’re a more laid-back option than bars or clubs, focusing on chilling out and talking. If you’re visiting and want to see the local gay spots, or if you’re a regular looking for familiar territory, these places feel different from the usual nightlife.
For details on what's there, opening hours, or specific amenities, check their website: http://www.saunamania.net/. It’s always smart to look things up before you go, especially if you have questions about what you'll find.

First time here on a Saturday night in May. Very disappointed! The facility is very much outdated. The lockers use upto three old traditional locks to lock. Which is so awkward. The stairs are sleep with rough surfaces! Which raises serious safety and comfort concerns. The management needs to address this essential safety issue!. The small pool in a small area has no lights. So no one dare to step in it because you don't know if the pool water is clean or not! So, the pool water needs to laminate at the lest. Even though, there are five levels of the facility, the most people were in the dark maze areas in the middle floor filled with many noisy Chinese speaking guys! On top of all these, the bathhouse does not take credit in the modern era. This is also the essential problem of Bangkok as a major touristy city in Asia. This needs to change for good. So don't wast your money in this old, unsafe and noisy place.
Ok looking sauna, 98% Asian and younger customers. If you need a proper towel bring one. They will give you a tiny one, it covers nothing.
Don't go in, guys, it's a terrible place. Just walk around a bit, it costs 500 baht to enter. It's old, dark, and dirty.
Had a really good time. There were a lot of guys there on Friday. Most of the guys were around 30-40 years old. Lots of great bodies. Most were Asian and there were plenty of foreigners too. There was something for everyone.
