About this place Gai Pied

Gai Pied is a gay bookshop and lifestyle store in Bangkok's Silom, on the 3rd floor of Siam Center.

The name comes from a French gay magazine. It’s a nod to LGBTQ+ history, and the shop is a natural meeting point for anyone looking for queer literature, media, or other cultural goods.

Silom has been Bangkok's main LGBTQ+ neighborhood for a long time. It’s got bars, restaurants, and shops. Gai Pied fits right in.

Coming here is a good way to connect with queer culture, find new voices, and support an independent business that caters to the community. You’ll find a selection that blends Thai and international LGBTQ+ culture. If you’re in Silom and want a deeper look at Bangkok's queer scene, this is a good place to start.

The bathroom is a little unhygienic, but everything else is fine, very good... I wish they would provide mouthwash 😊😊😊

Very amazing place I felt the real peace But the staffs are very scary. They take off your phone and money while you’re at your sauna time. I will never recommend this place for any one Unsafe The car staff took my phone a left me panic for almost 40 mins. The reception staff don’t give a damn your panicking and plays video games with other staffs and didn’t give clientele service at all I was All lone and it was unsafe
