Up2, on Rama 4 in Silom, is where Bangkok’s gay life is centered. The customers are about 90% gay and 100% gay-friendly, which means you don’t have to think twice about the vibe.
The staff know how to handle Western hair, and they’ve built a loyal following among both expats living in Bangkok and travelers who keep coming back to the city. They do cuts, styling, waxing (with hot wax from India), facials, manicures, and pedicures. Everyone speaks English.
If you’re a gay visitor in the Silom and Patpong area and need a haircut or beauty treatment, Up2 is the obvious spot.

The service staff were excellent. I recommend trying their service!
This nail salon and spa near my house has become my go-to place. No need to travel far or worry about parking. This place does great spa treatments and cuticle trimming at good prices, and the staff are very attentive. There's also parking available if you're driving. I love it! 🥰
Don't be tempted by the promotional price. Regular price is definitely not worth it! Hair coloring is 2490 THB. I asked the admin via chat before coming, and after asking for details, the admin was either inaccurate or intentionally trying to trick customers. The hairstylist had good intentions, but their skill was lacking, and the quality of the chemicals used was terrible. >> The hair color didn't match what was advertised. >> They bleached my hair, leaving the roots untreated. What were they doing with that? I've never seen anything like it before. I left the salon with black roots and golden streaks like bleached hair. So confusing! >> My hair was extremely damaged. For this price, the quality is like getting work done at a small shop in a back alley. The air conditioning was broken the day I went. They spent 6-8 hours getting my hair done – I practically died in there! They didn't take any responsibility. I just had to endure it. Run away! There are many other salons in Ekkamai. Find a much better salon.
