About this place Maxis Bar & Restaurant

Maxis Bar & Restaurant is a gay-friendly spot on Dinso Road, right in central Bangkok. It’s a low-key place to eat and drink, a chill alternative to the city’s main nightlife areas. The space is clean, modern, and looks out onto the street, so you can watch Bangkok move without being in the thick of it. The menu covers both food and drinks, making it an easy choice whether you’re just grabbing a casual bite, having a few evening drinks, or meeting up with friends. Bangkok’s gay dining scene runs the gamut, from quick eats to fancy sit-downs. This place hits a sweet spot for both visitors and locals who want an LGBTQ+-friendly space that isn't a full-on club. The owner's Australian background means the service is attentive without being fussy, and the prices are fair. You'll find it’s a straightforward spot for a meal or a drink, whether you're alone or with company. You'll find it on Dinso Road, which makes getting around Bangkok pretty simple from here. If you're looking for an unpretentious, comfortable place to eat and drink in an affirming environment, this is a solid bet.

Here, the waiters won't come near you, so you can drink at your own pace and you don't have to treat the waiters...
