Activate! Queer Teen Club: Halloween Crafts 🎃

Spooky season is here! Join us for an afternoon of Halloween crafting at Villa Vida. We'll make creepy-cute decorations, masks, mini pumpkins and whatever else you can dream up. Come as you are, or come in costume. Either way, it'll be a cosy, creative, slightly haunted hangout with snacks, music and good company.

Who It’s For

Activate is a fun, supportive safer space for queer, trans, nonbinary, intersex, lesbian, gay, bi, pan, ace, questioning and otherwise LGBTQIA+ young people aged 14–19. Questioning youth are very welcome, and you don't need any crafting experience. Enthusiasm for all things spooky is optional but encouraged.

Workshop Details

We'll supply paper, paint, glitter, fabric scraps, googly eyes and plenty of other materials to make Halloween decorations and wearable pieces to take home. You can follow along with ideas at the table or do your own thing. Everyone can take part, but nobody has to share or show what they make, so there's no pressure at all.

Supervision

Milla and Nazgol facilitate the session.

Accessibility

Villa Vida has step-free entry via a ramp and automatic door, a ground-floor accessible restroom and a non-smoking indoor space, and service animals are welcome. If you have access needs that could make attending more difficult, please let us know.
