About the venue
Spijkerbar (locals just say 'the Spijker') is a gay bar at the corner of Kerkstraat and Leidsestraat that has been open since the late 1970s. It has a pool table, cartoons and adult clips playing on the screens, and a mixed crowd of locals, expats and tourists…
“Nice gay bar you can walk half naked, you can chat nicely, still amused me” — alain v, Tripadvisor
“Tuesday night was so fun. Really busy with a great crowd. Felt very safe and welcomed, and left with a big smile on our faces!” — Andy T, Google
