Yorkingland: the Musical

Come and see our brand new medieval queer musical showing for two nights only in Leeds. “Yorkingland” follows the story of the race to secure the crown of Yorkingland following the death of the lesbian queen. Her disappointing son, Prince Daniel, must find a wife within one week or else the throne falls to the evil royal advisor, Rufus. Watch him navigate rat princesses, bad dates, therapy sessions from a wizard, mummy issues, evil schemes and (hopefully) finding true love. --Dates: 24th / 26th of September 2026Doors: 6.30pm Start Time: 7pmVenue: The Attic, LS10 1HDWe are 'A Very Unserious Theatre Company. ' A brand new community grassroots theatre group based in Leeds. We are an inclusive theatre group for people of all backgrounds who want to give theatre a try without having to take it too seriously. This September, we are putting on a production of our show 'Yorkingland', adapted and written by our directors, Hannah Davies and Gemma Gates.
