Bush Box
Visitors praise Bush Box for its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful and spacious outdoor areas, and functional, well-equipped accommodations, with some finding it a perfect place to unwind. However, a recurring complaint mentions issues with cleanliness upon arrival, poor communication and slow response times from management, and some finding the property or amenities to be worn or broken, contradicting other reviewers who found the place spotless and well-maintained.

We just had the perfect 3-night getaway at Bushbox (The Nest). Honestly, I don't get the bad ratings from before. It’s a tiny house, but you have a huge, fenced-off piece of the forest entirely to yourself, so it never feels small. We made campfires every night and cooked easily in the kitchenette. The place was spotless, the beds were actually comfortable, and our dog was in heaven. If you want privacy and nature, this is it. Definitely will be back 🌲🌳😍
We had a fantastic stay at this cabin and were genuinely surprised by some of the negative comments, as our experience was completely the opposite. The cabin is very functional, thoughtfully organised, and clean. Everything felt new, modern, bright, and well-maintained, which made it instantly comfortable and welcoming. It was clear a lot of care has gone into the setup — we had everything we needed for our stay, and not much felt missing or overlooked (except napkin and table cloth in the kitchen). The space was practical without sacrificing comfort, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway as a couple. Overall, this was a very positive experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others looking for a clean, modern, and well-equipped cabin stay.
The lady is unreachable by her guests on the phone. I booked the accommodation for my family, and we spent time together. The sauna was locked. I didn't receive a code. Later, we were called and threatened that we had left the accommodation in a mess and that we would have to pay the cleaning fee. The location is beautiful. The service is poor. The accommodation is below average.
A true oasis of tranquility. A wonderful stay in the Bush Box "The Lodge"! Something to keep in mind: There's no reception or Wi-Fi in the lodge, but that's all the more reason to enjoy the peace and quiet :).
Water boiler kept tripping off. Would overload after two showers. Outdoor hot tub was filthy and not maintained. Coffee was made available but no tea, or any soap. Soap dispenser was empty. Way too expensive for what we got.
A truly beautiful tiny house in the middle of the forest. In addition to the main building (with a double bed, small kitchenette, dining area, sofa, fireplace, and bathroom), there's another smaller cabin with a double bed. There's also a sauna, tucked away in a secluded spot, providing perfect privacy. Although there are several cottages in the area, you feel like you're far away from anyone else. The property is beautifully landscaped and romantic, offering plenty of opportunities to relax (e.g., by the fire pit or in the hammock). Highly recommended.
