Hotel Lika - north

[Food poisoning] Yesterday we stopped here for lunch on our way back to Split. The restaurant is self-service, i.e. canteen style. The trays and cutlery were greasy, as if they hadn't been washed properly. The bread was 'wet' in parts, I later realized it was raw. I ordered stuffed peppers with boiled potatoes (because there was no mashed potatoes) and a seasonal salad (everything is paid for separately). After lunch, on the way to Split, I felt a little sick, so I tried to sleep most of the time. When I got home, I sat down at my laptop to do some work and very quickly I was covered in sweat and my stomach started to hurt a lot. After one sip of tea, I had to run to the toilet because the vomiting was unstoppable. On two occasions, I threw up the entire contents of my lunch. Only after I got it all out of me did I feel a little better. I spent the rest of the evening dehydrated and this morning I'm still recovering. Go around this place in a wide arc!
