I must say that I was extremely satisfied. Hotel restaurant with great pizza, good breakfast, albeit with a more modest but very good selection. Service very helpful and nice. As for the room, it was clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Believe me when I tell you that you will not want to get up in the morning. Beautiful location, right by the river. The only thing I would complain about is that there was no mini fridge in the room. There were situations during my stay when it would have been useful, but I think that the other positives definitely outweigh this small deficiency. I would definitely be happy to return one day.
Nasty and arrogant receptionist who acts as if guests are bothering her life😂 Otherwise a nice hotel in a good location👍
Good breakfast, comfortable bed, parking. Everything is fine.
Very noisy place. Renovation underway.
Basically, there is nothing wrong with the hotel itself! The receptionists and the other staff are nice and friendly. It is the hotel management that have made me less than happy, namely because of their pointblank unwillingness even to try and negotiate any compensation for the worsened conditions which their clients (ourselves) were supposed to endure during our stay. There and then, some of the outer walls of the hotel buildings were undergoing refurbishment and insulation work, with accompanying noise commencing at 7 a.m., dust, and strangers walking scaffolding just behind our bedroom window and our living room balcony. However, the management seemed to be convinced that their guests should be charged same rates as if no such nightmare was haunting them. Asked about a possible compensation, all they suggested (via the receptionist, not face to face!) was that they "would be willing to reimburse a balance of the prepaid monies if we chose to leave for another hotel". (In other words: "Take it or leave it!")
