Parent group

Did you find out your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? Is it not easy for you to accept and are you looking for a way to cope with it, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them? We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you are experiencing with other people in a similar situation. You can be inspired or even discover new approaches. The meetings will be led by a psychologist and a psychologist who have extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.
The classic support group is intended for a maximum of 12 people and will meet once a month. We will provide details to those who register.
We currently have three runs of the parent group going – one group is led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, the second by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and the third, which is online, is led by Irena Smetáčková and Adam Šindelář. After registering for the group, one of the group leaders will contact you, depending on available spots in the groups.
