**the English review you are looking for** Whoever created this place and this concept is genuinely amazing and I'm amazed by how they have literally incorporated everything that you'll need in there- from condoms and lube to hair dryers, smoking room, bar that serves waffles haha, so many private cabinets (with different styles of mattresses, on even has a swing for the crazy ones 🤪) and private and public shower rooms. There's Sauna, jacuzzi and a steam room as well, there are cold showers available for when you feel too hot in the sauna/hammam (this is how they traditionally do it in Finland, sauna-cold shower-sauna, and repeat until you're satisfied). I love the reduced tariff for young guys on Thursday nights🫶🏽 and they are open until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays which is crazy. It is also almost continuosly cleaned by a staff member (as some people tend to litter their condoms everywhere 😐) but still all in all, a pretty clean place! They have messages in both English and French at the entrance and in the locker room, which helps a lot. As for guys, you'll see guys of different ages here and even ethnicities and there's definitely some company for everyone, I did end up meeting some guys who spoke English as well. As a gay man, i feel really relaxed, refreshed and peaceful here, all the men are non-judgmental and mind their business so that's great. If you're a young and attractive guy, people will definitely touch you but if you're not into s*x, you don't have to worry- they respect you and your consent a lot 👏🏽 So yeah, I highly recommend you to go there to have a relaxed and peaceful time. I recommend going between Thursday & Sunday and after 8 pm as there are more people, if you're someone who avoids people, you know when to go ;)

The Double Side is nice, but it's small and a bit cold in terms of decor. You quickly realize that people don't come here to relax, but to get down and dirty. It's not for well-behaved children, and while some will be thrilled, be warned. The major drawbacks: frequently stepping on used condoms and the chlorine that ends up burning your eyes after an hour. Also, forget about the sauna, which is used more for sex than the designated cabins, which remain empty.

The sauna is really nice, the staff are welcoming, and the place is clean, which is very much appreciated. However, there's no hose for the toilet/shower facilities, and no disinfectant for the hose, which is a bit of a shame. I had brought my own personal hygiene nozzle, but without a hose, it's limited in its use.

Hello everyone, I have nothing negative to say about the school itself at the moment, I just felt bad about something that happened on Monday, April 20, 2026, around 5:10-5:30 PM near my assigned locker, number 27. I was filmed in the locker room by a middle-aged man while I was getting dressed. I noticed him as I was about to leave, simply by turning my head to the left. He was there, phone held horizontally and pointed in my direction. I froze for two or three seconds before realizing what he was looking at on his phone. It was a game (during that time our eyes met and he moved his fingers). I still asked him if he was filming. He replied in the negative with a smile. Obviously, I didn't believe it at all and I was quite shocked by the situation. At the time, my mind was elsewhere, so much so that I had trouble finding the other clean towel when I went to return it, even though it was right around my neck. It's especially shocking to have to deal with people's malice in such a context. Frankly, this experience really got me down for the rest of the evening. I know what I'm saying is serious and that I don't have any concrete proof, but let's be honest: Nobody pays 22 euros to enter a gay sauna just to stand in the locker room playing a mini-game on their phone with only a towel on them. I didn't mention it, but when I was heading to my locker, I saw her there, motionless, almost with her arms crossed and only a towel on. And when I'd finished getting dressed and was about to leave, I saw her again, still in roughly the same spot, still with only a towel, but this time with her phone pointed at me. I was aware that these kinds of things could happen. But my first time there, I had a good experience and I didn't necessarily think about these dangers at the time. Especially since I wasn't really expecting to be confronted with a situation like this, after only my second visit to the place. I wrote this comment because it really upset me and I didn't know who to talk to about it, but also to remind people of these risks, especially young people like me. If this situation were to happen again, I admit I would be quite harsh with the person next time.

Excellent sauna, friendly and pleasant staff, and the facilities are top-notch! I arrived on a Saturday night and wasn't disappointed at all, plus it's open until 5 am. There's something for everyone, and lots of really cute and handsome guys! I had a great time with some attractive men and chatted with some nice guys at the bar. If I'm ever back in Lyon, I'll definitely be back!

This gay sauna has changed a lot; at one time it was the best. The welcome isn't always there, which is a shame. Hygiene has improved, and the clientele is a mixed bag depending on the day. It's especially best to avoid it in good weather. Otherwise, this place is conducive to relaxation and pleasure.
