Strengthening Queer Concerns!

How can queer organizations effectively advocate for their interests in local politics? What opportunities are there to help shape political processes and collectively advocate for queer concerns?

The one-day workshop "Strengthening Queer Concerns!" is aimed at queer organizations, associations, networks, and initiatives from Cologne. The goal is to support participants in effectively representing their interests in the local political context and strengthening their role as political actors.
The workshop will present the local political structures and participation opportunities in Cologne and jointly develop strategies for effectively representing queer concerns. Furthermore, it will focus on developing concrete action steps for one's own practice, strengthening networking between organizations, and taking a clear stance against discrimination and right-wing structures.
