When I got to the tree, I just looked at it, it's just a tree, that's why I traveled so far.? Then I sat down in front of it on the grass, in the shade of one of its grandchildren. I just looked at it silently for minutes, imagining what it would be like if I suddenly saw time speed up since the birth of the tree. About 40 human generations. A person is a baby, then grows old, a building is built, then it is leveled to the ground. Wars, storms, earthquakes, fires. But it stands there. Lovers at its base, children on its branches, bird nests under its protection.....I had to realize that what my path led to was life itself, the tree of life.
